In downtown Toronto, across from Ontario Place, The Ex, a.k.a. CNE or Canadian National Exhibition takes place in Exhibition Place. It goes from August 18-September 5, with interesting, yet thrilling daily activities planned carefully for your whole family! Fireworks go off everyday at 0:30 pm, except for Labour Day, which is at 9:30 pm---making sure your visit to The Ex ends with a pow!
There is an opening weekend Come back special this weekend (Aug 18-20), which allows everyone that visited The Ex during this time come back for FREE on another day of The Ex. There are over 700 exhibits, 65 attractions, and 500 events (which will be more than enough to keep your entire family entertained)! On Kids Loonie Mondays (Aug 21&28), kids can enter for only 1 dollar! Regular admission is $12 for adults and $8 for kids, this includes exhibits and events and of course, entry to The Ex and to Ontario Place!
You can visit www.theex.com for more information on driving directions, events,
